We explore Tissue by Imtiaz Dharker and Ozymandias by Percy Bysshe Shelley, around the theme of the power of humans, analysing how the key messages and attitudes on this theme are conveyed to us through the use of imagery, working as a template for students to compare messages around key themes for other poems, in turn helping students to prepare for the exam in the 2025 summer.
