Students explore a model text of a leaflet on an exam question topic and use their new understanding to plan and create the text of a leaflet based on a facility or service of their choice. This allows students to learn about leaflets and writing to advise/instruct using a topic that is of personal interest to them. The lesson includes an example leaflet based on a football club’s supporters’ guide.
Students then self-assess their own leaflets based on success criteria.
