KS3 Letter Writing
KS3 English lesson on letter writing, that focuses on writing formal letters and writing to persuade through letters to the editors. The lesson includes modelled examples and extensive teacher and student notes so students can see where and how they can improve their own non-fiction texts in order to write coherent and effective letters to an editor. Students look at how hyperbole, repetition, rhetorical questions and other language devices are used in a model example and adapt these techniques in their own writing.
Includes differentiated activities, model examples, notes for students and teachers and more. Really useful for English KS3 students but also adaptable for AQA English Language Paper 2 Question 5. Fully differentiated throughout.
